Kourtney Kardashian and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker are engaged.

Kardashian shared two photos on Instagram of what is reported to be Barker’s proposal at a beach in California, alongside the caption: “Forever.”

Barker also posted the pictures and shared messages of congratulations from friends, while Kourtney’s sister Kim Kardashian posted a video of the couple kissing which appeared to show off the engagement ring – soundtracked by the Bruno Mars song Marry You.

Barker, 45, arranged the proposal at a beach in Montecito, near Santa Barbara in California, according to People magazine and celebrity website TMZ in the US.

The images posted on social media showed an elaborate arrangement of red flowers and candles on the sand.

A representative for Kardashian, 42, has confirmed the engagement, according to the AP news agency, but no other details have been revealed.

The couple sparked rumours they were in a relationship at the beginning of 2021, confirming their romance around Valentine’s Day, after years of friendship.

The eldest of the famous sisters, Kardashian, a reality star and businesswoman, has three children with her ex-partner Scott Disick, but this will be her first marriage.

Barker, an acclaimed drummer and music producer, is a father of two who has been married twice before, including to former Miss USA Shanna Moakler.

He and Kardashian have shared pictures throughout their relationship with their followers on Instagram.

In August, the star took a flight for the first time since he survived a plane crash in which four other people died in 2008, and appeared to credit Kardashian with helping him face his fears – sharing a picture with the caption: “With you anything is possible.”
