PM moved to intensive care after COVID-19 condition worsens

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been moved to intensive care after his condition worsened, Downing Street has said.

He was admitted to hospital last night due to ‘persistent’ COVID-19 symptoms but was moved to intensive care at 7pm.

Before he was admitted, it’s understood he asked the Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab to deputise for him as necessary.
